
The GFWC/NJSFWC Woman’s Club of Old Tappan, a member of the Palisades District of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs recently hosted a dinner at the Old Tappan Firehouse to honor and thank the Club’s President Diana Savadjian who will complete her latest 2023-2025 two year term in May. She will however reprise her position for another two year term for 2025-2027. Having been born in Paris, France, the theme of the event was French culture and music. A lawyer, Diana joined the Club in 1987 and since then has consistently served on boards of the Woman’s Club of Old Tappan and the NJSFWC Palisades District, including three previous terms as the 2001-2003, 2011-2013 and 2013-2015 Club President. In 2010, Diana was awarded the rare highest honor of being enrolled by the Woman’s Club of Old Tappan in the prestigious NJSFWC of GFWC Order of the Lily which is a distinguished recognition given to a member already on the State Honor Roll who continues to give service to her club, the Federation and her community. At the Federation Guest Night celebration, the Club presented her with a gift certificate in grateful appreciation for her leadership and dedication.
